Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - B1/B2



Job Purpose:
We are seeking skilled and detailed-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Engineers – B1 / B2 to join our dynamic team. As an AME, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety airworthiness, and operational efficiency of our aircraft fleet. This position involves inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and certifying aircraft in compliance with Nile Air and regulatory requirements, ensuring top-notch performance and safety for every flight.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and reviews scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards.
  • Ensuring that the required documentation, parts, tools and GSE are obtained and used per issued instructions.
  • Performs defect troubleshooting and rectification in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.
  • Assist authorized Engineers to maintain positive awareness to the cost of aircraft maintenance including use of time and materials.
  • Minimizes unnecessary waste of consumable material and part repair cost by avoiding unnecessary damage and repeat work during maintenance.
  • Assist authorized Engineers for the post arrival handling of the aircraft and ensure that the aircraft is prepared for the next flight, after which correct procedures are to be used to shut down and secure the aircraft.
  • Assist authorized Engineers for the appearance of the aircraft internally and externally prior to any flight and upon its return.
  • provides sound supervision and guidance of maintenance technicians  
  • presents a positive image of technical professionalism to NP Flight Crews, customers and other companies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable university.
  • Holds an approved ECAA LWTR A&C / X-rated Aircraft Maintenance License
  • Minimum of one year in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a reputable airline or Aircraft Maintenance Organization.
  • A320/A321 equipped with V2500/CFM56 type course is a MUST.
  • Hand skills are mandatory and required.
  • Able to demonstrate airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge.
  • Excellent English Language.
  • Very Good computer skills.
